I watched The Lorax on Netflix last week. I know I’m jumping on this Onceler fan wagon kind of late but I don’t care. I plan to make him his green tux and top hat now!
Onceler, the villain who knits >:)

Thneed
I
just took some pink yarn and an F Hook and crocheted at random for about five
minutes. Then I wrapped it around his neck. It’s a thneed, so you can do it
however you want to fit your need :)
Assembly
Make
sure the hand caps are sewed onto the arms, then sew the arms right at his
shoulders. I then embroidered on the white v on his chest to give it more
definition. Sew the neck onto the body securely. With black crochet thread give
him a mouth and eyebrows. Tie his thneed around his neck and he’s done!
He looks a lot like Marshall Lee and it would not be that hard to mod him into the son of the demon king :) If you want detailed notes on amigurumi proportions click here.
Thanks so much for the pattern I made one for my kid but with different colors.

ReplyDeleteWhere did you find your sock weight peach yarn?
ReplyDeleteAmazing pattern! Easy as well :]
ReplyDeleteThe head is hard to make, I skipped to the legs and torso so I could make the head lastt with a ball and have a accurate size to the body as well ❤️
